Plot
Detective Mark Corley storms his way onto an alien spaceship to rescue his estranged son. When the ship crashes in Southeast Asia, he forges an alliance with a band of survivors to take back the planet once and for all.

Thanks to a much better cast and the fact that things actually happen over the course of most of the runtime, _Beyond Skyline_ is a far sight better than the original _Skyline_. But I cannot go so far as to say that it is, in and of itself, **good**. _Final rating:★★½ - Had a lot that appealed to me, didn’t quite work as a whole._
The movie starts off with promise... It's an alternate view of the same timeline (start of the invasion) as seen in the the 1st movie, Skyline.
