Plot
College student Janardhan is a simpleton who desperately seeks inspiration for the musician inside him. Although heartbreak helps him reach his goal, it also leads him to self-destruction.

This Bollywood feature started out so corny that we nearly gave up on it. We decided to give it a bit longer because it had nearly eighty wins and nominations. I began to realize that some of this was meant to be humorous, and relaxed into the ridiculousness of the opening premise. Turns out this is one hell of a romantic film.
