Omi Vaidya (born January 10, 1982) is an American actor of Indian descent. He works in both American and Indian films and shows. His performance as Chatur in 3 Idiots (2009) is what he is known best for. He auditioned for the role while on a trip to Mumbai without knowing much Hindi, and got casted.
