Frans and Mariska Bauer have been a well-oiled machine for over 30 years. Frans travels throughout the country for his performances and is often away from home. Mariska runs the house. Now that their boys are getting older and increasingly independent, they can't escape the fact that this busy life will be very different in a few years. Empty nest syndrome is looming.
