Protagonistas de la Fama (Protagonists of Fame) (2003) was the first Chilean reality show and marked a milestone in the country's television landscape: it combined bull runs, competitions, and audience votes with the typical drama of a soap opera, generating a ratings and pop culture phenomenon.
