Secret Invasion is rather what I have come to expect from US entertainment these days, that is, not a lot. Take yet another formulaic story, vaguely reminiscent of Invasion of the Body Snatchers, throw in a dash of "watch out for those Russian's" sentiment, lots of special effects, that are admittedly, well done and parachute in a reasonably well known actor or two and hope it all works. I did not like this series at all. The acting is awful and the casts accents don't fit in with the tone of the show. Nick Fury has been made weak and pathetic compared to previous Marvel movies. Every scene has to "push the message" so much that it becomes severely obnoxious.
